What's On

Tahuna Normal Intermediate Player's Code of Conduct

Tahuna Normal Intermediateis fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its sporting team participants and supporters. The school believes that it is important that players, coaches, parents and spectators associated with sports teams should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.

  • Play by the rules.
  • Never argue with a referee or umpire.
  • Control your temper. Verbal abuse of officials or other players, deliberately distracting or provoking an opponent is not acceptable or permitted.
  • Work equally hard for yourself and for your team. Your team’s performance will benefit so will you.
  • Be a good sport. Acknowledge all good plays whether they are from your team or the other team.
  • Treat all players as you would like to be treated. Do not interfere with, bully or take unfair advantage of another player.
  • Co-operate with your coach, teammates and opponents. Without them there would be no competition.
  • Be prepared to lose sometimes. Everyone wins and loses at some time. Be a fair winner and good loser.
